Just to personally throw in weight on one side, all I personally could ever ask for from Bard right now is a return to Stormblood Bard. Like I actively would just give up any of the thing the job 'gained' in Shadowbringers if I just got back what we lost. Stormblood Bard was one of the most well received jobs the game has ever had. I don't care if that means we take a hit in damage because no piercing debuff and that means we are still at the bottom of the barrel of DPS. Stormblood Bard was the first time the team really hit the sweet spot on this hybrid DPS/Support mobile ranged DPS. I don't need some music only job with a harp. I don't need some bow only job as a ranger. I want the job I was promised and finally received in Stormblood. Seeing it get gutted the way it did when it was a job that was so well loved by the player base just baffles me.
