Custom graphics settings presets

Hi!

I would love to have the option to save multiple custom graphics settings presets.

I don't have the best graphics cards (GTX 970) and I need to switch between the settings quite often. Like when a new patch gets released and a lot of players are in one area I need to lower a lot of settings to keep 60 FPS. When viewing cutscenes or taking screenshots I use settings close to maximum. When doing battle content with a lot of effects I use something in between.

I don't use the presets we have because they are not what I need or what I want, so I always have to go through all of them manually.

It would be great if we were able to save multiple custom settings, like with the HUD layouts, and make it so that you can switch between them with macros or keybinds.

For that matter it would be nice if you could have an optional setting for per-zone/per-mode presets, this would essentially automate the entire process after you make the preset for an area/mode/feature of the game.

Being able to custom tailor the entire game in such a way would actually be great for users running on weaker hardware.



edit: Just curious though, do you actually play with full spell effects? I've disabled all spell effects and pop up text that aren't my own. It not only helps with FPS, it makes bosses more readable.

I usually play with my own effects on (unless I'm having a headache, then I'll change them to limited), party effects limited, others off. I can't play with other players' effects on, too much clutter. Same with the pop-up text, I have had only my own visible ever since the option was implemented.

In some fights I still lose FPS, like the first boss from Rabanastre. And as soon as I'm below 60 FPS I'm getting extreme stuttering, no matter my GPU settings.
