how does one use blue mage?

Every time I'm running fates with my FC mate and his BLU skillz trivialize the content we all get a good laugh.

Any time I travel through CWH, and The Eyes FATE is up, I'll throw a few Missiles at it to spawn all the adds all at once and then leave. Just amuses me seeing the whole army in place.

But yeah. Outside of instanced content, that's about the most fun to be had, finding things to break. That FATE in particular is fun for being one most players quickly learn is not something you can solo, and even small groups struggle. But BLU says "I got this."

Ive been paid to res people up to that lamp post before. The fun way to get there is to climb to the top of the peg tower(get that sightseeing log while youre there), aim just right, and jump.

it gets hate cause its a fan favourite job but cant play with the other jobs in the higher end content, not that those that complain about it do such kind of content =w=, its just people REEEEing all over. Also i only have a link for EU discord idk if i can post it here though they could probably show you a link for other servers

There is a wall of text above me that probably explains this but I know what formatting is good for.

No you cannot learn blue magic while not on the job, I'm not sure who told you this but they are lying.
You can queue for dungeons using PF, you just cannot take randoms with you. As such you'll either need a premade party of 4, or you undersize it so you aren't attempting to pull random players in.

The grind isn't actually all that much of a grind. Actual job levels can be done in an hour or two, and the skills are all combat earned so it's a little more exciting than some other classes.

It will probably never be a not-limited job, so to speak. There's been no lightening on restrictions, and probably never will be. But honestly other than the level cap, this only limits you from doing a small amount of content. Deep Dungeons, and PvP. I can't think of anything else BLU can't do. In fact, doing some old endgame raids is really fun and refreshing as BLU, it gets you the morbol mount if you can complete them all so there's some fun and interesting endgame fights ready for you with some nice titles and mounts as rewards.

Thats an incredible over generalisation you just made there lmao which reeks if personal bias, for myself I run all kinds of endgame content as does everyone i know in game, and they all complain about it. You dont need to lie about people to talk about things you like. I could just as easily say everyone Ive seen defending BLU as fun hasnt even stepped into end game content/ is bad at it, but I know that isnt correct despite it being my experience, because in sure there does exist people that dont fit my description.

I dont know if it counts but i did get the morbol and i have gotten into savage not way too deep though id say maybe knees deep, and also alot of people that i know like blue , im just saying that most comments in the forums are people REEEEing , generally its about not being able to do content with other jobs specifically there is always someone that will say it cant raid with other jobs , alot of people will agree yet alot of them havent done raiding anyways ,its the usual group mentality of the forums, you can call me biased cause i like the job , i do try to be as objective as i can though.

Well im even more confused then lol, if youre talking about Eureka or like Ex roulletes then theres even less argument here and more people ive seen wanting them there because their "balance" is already very loose. Eitherway you're straw manning the complaint crowd pretty hard, most of them are incredibly reasonable.

Good for you on clearing, the point of my comment wasnt to insult anyone ,I was showing how ridiculous you were being by generalizing like that. You say its mostly REEEing is not you being objective, as someone who uses those threads whenever they are active, the REEing these days is an absolute minimum and they are actually some pretty fun discussion threads with people talking about balance implications and the such. You say youre trying to be objective but your post so far had been subjective conjecture.

i was changing it before the comment you made loaded which is why i made the second one, i agree rn the REEing is minimum id say actually non existant, i havent seen a blue thread in quite awhile, the thing im remembering is back when they were plentyfull , i remember having 4 threads about blue in the first page at some point , all asking make it unlimited and it is bad now , but besides being able to do content at level 80 with other jobs and a huge nerf what is the point? i remember how alot of comments were i quit the job cause i find it boring most being at something like lvl 30.
i disagree not just cause subjectively i like the job but because all those fixes and balances people think they want are objectively flawed and how could they not be flawed you cant compare ideas people who played till at max 50 to months of designing a dev did , if it was from people who played the job to its fullest it would hold some value but at this point its purely fan fiction.

Yeah again youre generalising so im not gonna reply any further, but there are a lot of complaints from people who have got it to 60 and have done max blue content, myself included, and your appeal to authority fallacy is not a show of something being objectively flawed https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/...l-to-Authority .
