Wow, never knew so many people still use leves for something else than crafting and gathering.
I join exp parties for leveling when I hit R10, and going from 1 to 10 can be done with 10 minutes of grinding, not even worth to pick up Leves for that.
I use Leves for my gatherer though, but there is just so much stuff I do with my LS, I never make it below 90 either if I don't also craft for a while.

With rested bonus and good practice, you can actually gain pretty decent exp, even on par with what an average exp party can do if you take in account waiting around town for party to form up travel etc. Don't get me wrong, a good exp party will still outdo someone while ACTIVELY exping, it's just usually it takes 30-40 minutes to form up...in that time I can earn about 50K in exp doing leves at 40+ camps.

The trick is to solo your leves, and aim for completing them in about 5 mins or less. Also, keep yourself with in 2-3 levels of the leve. For example if you are rank 37, do leves at the 30 camp at +9 stars. For level 40 camps, your average completion bonus (for difficulty+completion is about 6K...some more some less). That's just for finishing the leve, add that to the exp you earned while doing the leve and each level 40 leve=about 10K exp. So for a level 49 character, you need to do about 12 leves to get to level 50. (If you set your HP at the camp and return to the city for the cost of 6 anima, you can have your level...which is the same amount you might spend on teleporting a party to a grind camp if you don't have the camp favored)

I know you technically can get bigger exp returns if you can leve-link with people, however, I've never seen a group do their leves as fast as a person soloing them, so the solo person tends to out do them. Again, it also takes time to gather up etc, that you don't need to spend if soloing.

Don't get me wrong, group exping is still the fastest and most effective route if you can group quickly and are in the right camp, not competing against others...but leves are a viable option for times when you just can't find a group.


And I'm currently sitting on about 68 leves right now.

I hit 0 leve allowances every other day. About 15 leves or less is enough to get me one level post 45 on crafts so it's by all means not useless to do them. Level 40, 45 and 50 leves will net you 2k+ to 4k exp per completion besides the exp you get while crafting required items. Add rested bonus, food and quality bonus to that and it's heaven!

I hit 0 all the time. I'm using the leves to help grind out the luminary achievements. I am kind of ashamed to say it, I once did all 99 leve allowances in one day >.>

if you actualy do leves for achievments like some of us do, yes, very easy to hit 0

also those who solo level tend to be at 0 quite often

Yes...all you have to do is complete leves faster than they come back. I regularly run out of leves, then I take a break and let them build up again.

I hit 0/99 leves 3 times when I was leveling miner to 50 (waited for them to regenerate full between each time), then waited till they regenerated back to 99 and hit 0 again when leveling botanist. It's quite possible to do it as I have done it 4 times now, but it required several hours of leves each day.

Its very easy for players who play all the time every day, but I'd imagine itd be VERY difficult to do as a casual player.

I do it everyday. If i get backed up, they get burned down on the weekends.

Highest i've ever been since they added allowances was around 50, after being out of town about a week. I was always good about doing my 16 leves per 48hr and then 36hr, so i guess i was already in the habbit lol.

I never touch Regional leves.
