Literally every color on the screen you're looking at now is made by mixing red, green, and blue. If you look at a color wheel, the majority are shades of red, green, and blue. The human eye prefers red, green, and blue. How many shades of purple do you think there are and how many do we need? And why did you pick purple out of the list of colors and not yellow?

I agree, we definitely need more purple dyes! I like most colors, but purple looks very nice on my character, so it kind of became her signature color.
Earlier today I even wanted to make a new outfit, but trying something to go with the purple Hyacinth and Campanula hairpins, I yet AGAIN had to notice there is no purple that matches their colors.
While we're at it, there are almost no real orange dyes as well, or yellowish greens. And grayish versions of multiple colors...
The worst thing though is that SO MANY pieces of gear STILL have undyeable parts that don't match ANY of the available ones. Why is that still a thing? When giving us limited dye options, at least make it so we can match them with everything. I like pieces with undyeable parts because it's the only way to not have something in only one solid color (or one color and its darker or washed out version). But it's a little annoying to combine like this.

Purple is a combination of Red and Blue, so it's quite pleasing to the eye, and there's hardly any shades of purple compared to other colours. Op has a point.Literally every color on the screen you're looking at now is made by mixing red, green, and blue. If you look at a color wheel, the majority are shades of red, green, and blue. My eyes don't think purple is pleasing. That's black, gold, dark blue.
Purple and Orange (Not Brown) does seem rather neglected. Hopefull the next wave of IR dyes can give us those (and Chartreuse)
Oh yes. We don't have a single decent purple in game while at this point we have a million blues.
Also, something I thought of reading the title, enemy armies in game tend to wear purple, so maybe they really hate it.
Not including metallic colors, purple and yellow have the same amount of dyes. I'm not sure where your "almost an entire 2 blocks" is coming from. Also, royal purple and dark purple are already in the game.well yellow has like almost an entire 2 blocks for one

I don't disagree that there should be more shades of purple for us to choose from, but I was saying that there's a reason why there's a lot more red, green, and blue.
