Would be funny if they accidentally swapped bodies on the way back, ex. Thancred with Y'shtola, and have to deal with usual cliche gender swap shenanigans while Krile and Matoya try to fix things. Like Magani trying to hit on Y'shtola again but since Thancred is currently in her body he punches him, etc.
