    Old content you'd like to see get Revamped

    Probably 1.0 players can appreciate this particular suggestion a little more. Remember Faction/Battle leves? I liked the idea of undertaking specialized objectives out in the open world. You could do some of them solo, adjust the difficulty for "better rewards," you could undertake them with a party and only the players in that party could fight the leve enemies and you didn't have to worry about congestion lag or missing the spawn.

    I always thought the devs could do so much with battle leves. There was even a point where i thought, how cool what it be if there were leves you could even activate in instanced content like dungeons or even Alliance raids.

    These are just my personal ideas and I'd love to hear more. What's some old content or system ingame that you though had potential and would love to see revitalised or get revamped.

    I always thought the leve's could be a sort of less spammy but more impactful system, like you might occasionally get to use a mega leve that would give you a choice at one huge catch up reward- if you missed roulettes through the week you could spend your leve to get a big drop of tomestones, if you kept up on that you might use it to get a bunch of hunt seals, etc. Give it a bit of a dynamic aspect so it might generate mutl-zone / step quests, but of course ensure the general time to completion is very very much worth the time investment. Just in general thought it might be nice if there was less of like "you can do 99 of these" and more like "here you can do a few of these today, or less often like this week, but they're totally worth it and not the standard fate / dungeon". I feel something could be done to revamp that.

    Mostly only used them out of novelty, relic, or for my crafting/gathering (when there isn't a crafting/gathering beast tribe).

    Instanced leves sounds interesting, so long as it doesn't turn into "kick the player that brought the extra dragon to this fight please" lol.

    Onto my own wish I'd love to see a revamp/more of Moogle content (like a physical mognet, originally had really wanted a summon-able mog like in FFIX), chocobo content (hot and cold perhaps, better/new abilities and jobs, choco paradise/lagoon, etc), airship content (physical based, can be FC but also really want it on a personal level- sort of old kind of depends on how you look at it).

    I feel hamlet might be something that could be brought back for FCs, perhaps a mix of doma reconstruction and hamlet defense as a FC project.

    You know with the expansions and new zones I'm surprised we haven't gotten new race Tracks. It would be interesting to que into a new race track that had more obstacles and traps. Not to mention new items to screw over players

    I'd like to see the hunting log turned into a full bestiary which you go and hunt all the different types of enemies in game and record their lore in an in-game encyclopedia.

    i don't think they have anyone assigned to chocobo racing anymore which is why it hasn't been touched at all. he's moved on to other things and they haven't bothered to go back and look at it.

    It should have information on crafting material drops and blue magic. Also info on if a monster is a hunt mark, what type of mark and if it's on one of the bills you have.

    I've always thought the hunting log should interface with hunt bills. It could have a list of the bills, indicating which ones you have and don't have, if you have an old one or the current one, and which are unavailable until the next reset. It could also list all marks by zone. This could interface with a bestiary section that would tell you about the monster and where to find them on the map, assuming you have encountered it before.

    I also wouldn't mind seeing the kill lists extend to the upper levels and include added jobs. That would also come with more class/job specific rewards.

    I would like to see Squadrons continue to be worked on and not forgotten. They have a lot of potential to be something akin to Trusts.

    Personally, i was hoping that the Hunts in ARR would be a reintroduction of the Faction Leve's where you could team up with a group of players and spawn an NM type of enemy, which was considerably more difficult to beat. However, they went for the spawn windows that exist now. I still hope they will introduce a similar system with the Faction Leve's, because my Leve allowence has been collecting dust for years now. I've only used a couple recently, to level low level gatherers on an alt to the point where i could enter the new Diadem.

    I would also like to see a reiteration of the "Hamlet" system, where you can use crafters and gathers to gather materials to "fortify" a "Hamlet / Settlement" (like Hyrstmill back in 1.x) and have battle jobs defend it from (Beastmen / Garlean) invasions.

    Finally, i would also like to see "Rivenroad" return as a trial within FFXIV. It was an iconic fight at the end of 1.x and would like to see a "Minstrel's Ballad" (Extreme) version of it in the current version.
