Transition between past ARR to next patch ARR

I really wonder what ARR will be like once this big change will be done. As someone who has been playing since 2014,I was never bothered by the huge quest line people complain about. Most likely because it was fed to me little by little. But what are your expectations/fears about this change?

It won't be much different I think. A bit of streamlining where some travel from A to B to A to B is changed to a single trip. A few quests made optional that did not contribute much.
And so on.
No major changes to the story.
