People tend to under value how strong these 'enhanced' abilities are.
Body:
- AF Body "Enhances Cover" gives 25% damage taken to MP return
- Works on both physical damage and magic damage
- Works even if you cover a target without hate. Think of it like Sanguine Rite.
- The MP recovery does NOT show up in the log like Sanguine Rite does.
Get mana back, even when not main tank. You can throw this on the tank and get you mana back to support you party. Mana keeps you useful in any fight
Hands:
- +10% HP cured on Holy Succor
10% is a huge increase in healing, considering this make all increase healing gear 10% more effective too. The paladin doesn't have the room in gear options to find such a huge increase in healing. You are rarely going to find a single piece of gear to grant such an increase to any ability. Not to mention; when you use it to heal another player, you get 50% of that heal, thats a lot of threat right there.
Legs:
- Increases Divine Regen effect when cured from +85 HP/tick to +113 HP/tick
- No effect on Divine Veil's block enhancements
That is a 33% more effective increase of you healing per tick. 33%! I know paladins are under valued right now, but I feel it is because people do understand how useful this ability is. People tend to stack ranged is the only reason people don't feel this is a godsend. I still run groups with melee DD, and as a main healer, I love when paladins have this up. Keeps the party up, I need to throw less heals, get less enmity, spend less mana, and overall increased party endurance. Just to give one example of where is is insanely useful, run through the vale with a paladin. The stacking regen effects really makes healing that place a breeze.
