True, I would get rid of a retainer in a heartbeat if the glam system was actually a decent feature.Call me a cynic, however I suspect SE would never allow the dev team to make a proper glamour log because it directly impacts retainer purchases. After all, glamour is a significant portion of what people hoard. The glamour dresser will likely be the best we'll get, which wouldn't be so bad if they continue bump up its limits and let you put it in your house.
Unfortunately, it’s my glamour hoarding that might make me retire from this game. It has been really hard for me to figure out what to get rid of for more glamour clutter. I usually toss anything I can buy quickly, but dungeon drops and tomestone gears I hold on to and it’s getting difficult, because I’m almost out of purchasable gear to toss. I don’t craft, because I have no room for crafting and same for gathering. I haven’t even tried the jobs, because I have no room for their gear. If I can’t get through this expansion with a better or more expansive inventory, then I’m out for good and I’d hate to leave this game I’ve played non-stop with a continued uninterrupted subscription since ARR 2.0.
None of the Job Gear past Level 50 can be stored in the Armoire.
So the source doesn't really matter.
But i think you mean the Calamity Salvager.. which only has the Lvl 60 GNB Job Gear for sale.
Which kinda sucks but since the Gear from the Calamity Salvager is not augmented it doesn't really matter anyway.
This is a great annoyance for me as well. They really should find a way to either add purchased items to the armoire or let you repurchase the gear via the calamity salvager or something.
I do agree, the armoire should have more things be put into it. Job gear, relic weapons, and some of the gear sets too. Idk what is so wrong with that.
I don't think either is likely because of the nature of greed indicated that it would be better for the bottom lien to for players to rebuy the same gear in the event that it was lost.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Correction. They (or SE) don't want to spend the time and resources to fix it. Keep in mind, flying in ARR was cited as impossible due to crappy 1.0 coding. They fixed that... even if it was wholly unnecessary.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
It wasn't because of crappy coding. It was just because the maps hadn't been designed with flying in mind.
And the question still remains whether if they'll still look horrendous seen from above or not (though I'm more of a Utility trumps Aethestics guy).
wowwwww... that really sounds like a you problem. just get rid of stuff. it doesn't matter.Unfortunately, it’s my glamour hoarding that might make me retire from this game.
