    Trapped in the Gridania Inn

Saba Mercure on Midgardsormr logged out in an Inn today, and now every time i try to login on her, i get 9002 disconnected. When I login in to any other character on the same server, I get in just fine, and can play for hours. Please get my character Saba Mercure out of the Gridanian INN.

I have asked online in the game repeatedly and all I get is a form response, asking me to give my feedback here. Well my feedback is that I am in great distress that i can't access my main character and i don't know what else to do. PLEASE HELP!

I am on my third support case with Square Enix support... they don't read the case notes at all, they just look for a tag, oh 90002 here's a page about turning off Windows firewalls and deleting IE, an bugging your ISP, but did you read that only one of my characters does not work NO, just closed the case when you saw 90002. Ok try again, oh i tagged it as "in game" because well this is a problem with me getting into the game. Oh that's for our GMs to handle, don't bother reading the case notes, close. Here's a survey be sure to like, subscribe and check that bell so you won't miss us missing the case notes.

Yet another try is in progress... I just want my character back. Is this so hard to understand. I can login on 3 other alts, just this one drops me back to the Main menu every time i try to login on her. Whether its on Windows, on Mac, or PS4... all do the same thing! There is something wrong with the character object on their servers. Not my client, Not my network, not my Gms, Square Enix support FIX THIS PLEASE! I beg you please fix this.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
