    Sucks but the only way to "lock" a thread is to get it deleted and you can't delete your own thread. Completely stupid I know.

    The only way to get around it is to self report your own thread and request in the comment section for it to be removed.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    One day I truly hope they revamp the forums. We're missing so many features and options that most any other gaming forum comes with by default - like seriously, why are we not able to delete our own threads? Or change our forum name at all? Why do we have an arbitrary character limit that most people just work around via editing?

    Bit of a tangent to the original thread, but stuff like this just tends to remind me of how poor this forum is in comparison to others, as far as user interface and tools go.
