I think he's trying to say you could buy the tale of adventure instead of buying a stolen account?

It kinda sounds like maybe his account was stolen, and he got it back, and the person who bought his stolen account is harassing him?

From the sounds of things, maybe he got hacked and they used his account to sell Gil/sell the account itself, and when it got recovered, he started getting tells from people wanting their money back?

The account is a victim, not the mastermind. They steal the account login then use that character to send more messages and trick others. It'll be a different person's name attached to the message every time you see it.

The last person determined to prove their point and name-and-shame the sender got their post deleted too.

I know both the OP and the victim on this page. OP is in my FC. The other is a PvPer. I will be checking up on the OP to make sure everything is fine.

One: you need to remove that link immediately.

Two: Doesn't matter. Naming and shaming can still get you suspended. The person is most likely a victim and not a cause.

I got one of those messages today. Looked up the name of the person who sent it on the lodestone. Three identical midlander females across all three NA data centers, all level 29 Gladiators. Heh.

Probably got hacked. That's why the one time numbered password key should be utilized. Or he went to one of the easily noticeable phishing scams such as the one received below today:

Now take a look at the URL above. see the -eg.xyz in it? That is not an official SE domain. The page looks exactly like SE's but it is not. Can be mistaken by someone who is not paying attention.

Someone tried that BS on me today. There have been a lot of warnings here on the forums too. I noticed that fake website right away. Hopefully the message will keep getting around and we'll see much less people falling for that crap.
