*SPOILERS* Quest: Echoes of a Fallen Star

So I've played through this quest 3 times now (cause I'm a masochist with alts) and I noticed that the choices for Theyler and Vonrad were different than what I had before. But i clicked through it a bit fast (third time through, sorry) and didn't read it.

The little cut scene when you go and bid them adieu before they leave for Amh Araeng. So I finished up the rest of the quest, then went to the unending journey to go back and see it. But that cut scene isn't there! So I looked it up on Gamer Escape, and there are in fact Four different options you could get (the second one just kind of changes up the first couple words of the sentence). Granted, their response doesn't seem to change.

Anyone know why that cut scene wouldn't be in the unending journey? If it gives you different dialogue options? Also what story trigger or choice causes the changes to the dialogue option?

I don't know why it isn't in the Unending Journey (never checked it to see), but I believe the choice of dialogue options is influenced by your starting city state. IIRC, someone said the choices are the advice the GC leader of your nation gave to your character before they left on their envoy mission in ARR.

Oh that would make sense. She did start in a different city than my first two. Nice thanks
