Are there any in-game farming updates?

It's been a few months since yoshi-p brought up in game farming as something that could be added into the game. I was wondering if there's been any updates to this or if anybody has any idea of how this would work?

I haven't heard anything about this since before the launch, but we will be getting more info about 5.3 this month so if it is going to be in there we should hear about it at least. I'm a bit curious myself.

It was one of those "things we're thinking about doing this expansion" that was likely never going to be realized before 5.45, if ever, because it was never a fleshed out idea, just something they had a thought about during a time when they needed to say things out loud at people to get them to buy an expansion.

Based on what theyve said, they havent dropped -any- content, which is why 5.3 is 2 months longer than expected (because small indie companies cant get remote access vpn's and basecamp set up in any short amount of time)

I remember it was something they wanted to do instead of Deep Dungeon for 5.0, but when we'll get it we won't know, right now they've got all the way up to 5.85 in order to bring it out but likely my guess is 5.5 since it's not shown to be 5.3 content. Perhaps 5.4 if they've really got nothing else to release alongside the 8-man Savage.

There was a minion farm that was discussed possibly for 5.3 but haven’t heard anything about it and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been dropped with covid. Prioritising the relic instance since its tied to the relic, msq, trials. A minion farm might be a bit of light fun they just couldn’t devote time to atm. Or maybe we will what more in the LL.
