I going to disagree. I can tell that most topics there are created to farm karma, by the virtue of copying formats that worked before, and very little useful information. You can find some, of course, sadly is not the norm.

However, is pretty much an endemic problem with Reddit in general.

Why would newbie who join ffxiv and feel great about community there want to create a post just for the sake of farming karma? they can eat it? And what could stopping people in this forum to farm the LIKE by saying thing that people would agreed? farm the like in here is easier since there is no downvote to counter it. You only need to stand on the majority side same with reddit.

Now that I think of it, bet that tank is for beast tribe, totally forgot its dwarves, prolly need to help build since its crafted stuff.

When they originally said the patch would be delayed for at least a month (originally slated for June 16th) I said that means around 2 months in final fantasy lingo. Boom, almost 2 months to the day, damn I'm good at this. Sucks, but what can you do. Bliz hasn't even hinted at when the pre-patch will be, let alone release date for SL Xpac, so I guess we're kinda lucky.

The game definitely feels like a patch is overdue. That said given the circumstances what can anyone really say. Its understandable things have been delayed. I've just been playing other games.
