I never said it didn't. What I said was "Most fanart is commissioned by someone else and posted by the one who paid." Not "No artists post their own art".

Also, there is very little actual toxicity on the forums, because those people get banned fairly quickly. Reddit has far more, it just gets downvoted. But you know what else gets downvoted? Things that go against the hivemind. I've posted correct, factual information directly in response to a question, with no sarcasm or condescension, and been downvoted for it. Reddit is awful.

People say the forums are a place for carebears because you get banned easily (you dont, if you follow the rules) and because everyone just praises SE or gets banned (also factually incorrect) but on Reddit if you dis the game, you also get downvoted into oblivion, but at least here some discussion happens over dissenting opinions.
