ffxiv subreddits is what draw people in.It is where people show the appealing of Fan Arts, Garden&Housing and Glamour. It is where newbie asking and received the help. It is a place where people asking for a convincing idea whether this is a game for them. While what can be found a common thing here is users constantly biting each other and maybe no one haven't said it before but this is the ideal place for a trolling since there is no worry about the downvote. Ironically the subreddits if what make people want to join the community while this OFFICIAL forum make people want to quit.

I going to disagree. I can tell that most topics there are created to farm karma, by the virtue of copying formats that worked before, and very little useful information. You can find some, of course, sadly is not the norm.

However, is pretty much an endemic problem with Reddit in general.

Why would newbie who join ffxiv and feel great about community there want to create a post just for the sake of farming karma? they can eat it? And what could stopping people in this forum to farm the LIKE by saying thing that people would agreed? farm the like in here is easier since there is no downvote to counter it. You only need to stand on the majority side same with reddit.
