Main Scenario Quest Replay

Hello everyone,
I am a new player and had a question about the Main Scenario Quest. I want to play with my wife, but I do not want to create a new character if possible. My plan is to level a new class while playing with my wife. My question is this, am I able to level a new class and replay the main scenario quest with my wife even though I have already complete a large portion of it with my main class/job? Thank you for reading and Appreciate any feedback.

You'll be able to level your classes with her in dungeons, but otherwise not the actual quests themselves.

From Heavensward onwards (currently) you can activate New Game Plus mode to replay the story. There's a very quick unlock quest at Vesper Bay.

Replay for ARR is coming with patch 5.3 which was supposed to be out now, but has been delayed to August.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doing those quests in New Game+ mode doesnt give you any rewards, including exp, right? So while they could play through the story together, joseach would still need to level their job through other means (dungeons, FATEs, hunts, whatever) to keep up.

New Game+ only allows to play through the main scenario content over again, however, does not give any xp or bonuses when doing dungeons or related content to NG+ on your character.
