I seen this request pop up a few times: Let us use our lower level animations and effects for our upgrading skills while keeping them the same mechanically

I know I certainly want to use inner beast instead of fell cleave and rage of halone over royal authority anyday to say nothing of the heated mch animations. Enough jumps to make a drg jealous...


which ones would you use if you had the option?

Some kind of action glamour system would be cool, especially if it includes cut actions. I know a lot of DRKs would love Power Slash back.

I wish we could toggle animations. I actually preferred the unheated MCH animations. Clean Shot felt more impressive as a combo finisher when it was the only one doing a spinny twirl.

Yes. Everything is tending to get bigger and flashier and brighter and with more "sharp" sound effects and it's just getting too much. I had to switch off battle effects for party members because even in a four-person dungeon (Malikah's Well) I couldn't see anything through a blinding glare of spells going off.

At very least it now needs a mid-point between "all effects" and the "limited" setting that only shows the bare minimum like healing circles.

Yeah... I would be so much more interested in playing NIN if I didn't absolutely hate the Naruto run. I get some people really like it but it's just not my bag.

Yes. I would sacrifice whole expansion for that. There is already no content in ShB, so they might as well create something useful.
For me job visuals are very important. And since devs don't really care and a lot of jobs are very "meh" in that aspect, i would fix it myself if devs are not capable of it.

I really miss the more clean and straightforward shooting style MCH has in the lower levels over the absurd jumping and flipping from their higher levels.
