I get annoyed by people, but I still like the game. I don't let some person ruin my experience to the extent I would stop playing the game entirely. I'll just move on afterwards. I'll be back in there presently trying to find another farm. I need gil for my glamours. I do not craft, this is one of the best ways for me to make several million a day! Maybe I'll be able to afford a house one day! Whether or not I will actually be able to find a house to buy, that's another story.
That person last night did not want to farm like this, they had a "new way", nobody in the party knew what he was talking about, the other tank didn't know what the first one was demanding, and the result was this tank seemingly griefing our players, and causing many deaths. The party was not happy with this, I left when I realized what was going on - the party was in shambles.
I know you should have bloodsucker essence on tanks. Not every tank is going to have bloodsucker though, and people shouldn't expect bloodsucker to automatically mean they don't need heals. For that matter, you cannot go into Borzja and just expect random tanks to have this essence. You adjust the party for what you get. I am not the type to leave people out, because they do not have a certain essence or aren't comfortable playing a certain class. I can fill whatever role that is needed. I accept any level into my farms, and I will personally move down to zone 1 so they can farm too.
There are many different ways to farm, one is splitting multiple zones. However, there are many factors involved. I can account for player habits, and I know exactly what goes down. For example, you try to have someone tank zone 2, with 1 tank (no bloodsucker), 1 heal, 1 dps. Unless they are a tank that knows what they are doing, and or there is a healer that is actually paying attention, the tank will be dying constantly. EVEN when there are 4 people there the tank can be dying constantly. I have had to micromanage pug tanks, and if they want, I show them routes, or how to safely farm. Sometimes I tank instead (w/o essence - I have used it all), so that everyone is comfortable, and nobody else is dying. No, I do not call anyone out if they cannot handle certain areas. There are enough alternative locations, that everyone can farm easily, and happily. Optimally, we never get into a situation where anyone is ever dying. If one area doesn't work out, we move on.
