I have, for a long time expected a base level of competency. "You made it to level 50 you should know what you're doing by now!" Replace that with 60 and 70 for the expansions.

My problem is with how accessible they're making the game, they aren't giving players the hard lessons they need to actually learn their roles and how to play. You can face mash your keyboard and basically pass everything the story wants you to.
This is great for sub numbers and for players who only want the story. Those players are perfectly valid, I have long stopped expecting everyone to know how to play at a "high level" (though from others perspectives it's a mid level).

It is hard to expect skill when the game keeps taking away the need for it.

Then again, the NA playerbase has always been wary of taking advice. Nobody wants to hear they have been playing "wrong" this whole time. That's something that hasn't seemed to change since the dawn of time.

I could go on and on about the player mentality, or the dungeon meta, or how annoying tanks are to me as a tank main, or how serious players can take the wrong situations...
But I'm just someone on the Internet, nobody actually cares.
