UI Suggestion: The ability to temporarily lock a window on the UI

One of the things that I love about the UI is the flexibility in having submenu windows open without their parent window. For example, opening the Timers window and selecting the Grand Company Turn ins opens a new window, and then I can close the Timers window and look at the GC turn ins window independently. The same goes for a lot of other windows within Timers and other menu options.

The problem is as soon as I start doing other activities, like checking retainers or the market boards, the menu will disappear.

I would love if I had a right click and "lock" option to keep that window open on the UI, even after I peform other activities that would normally force it to close. I have pretty bad short term memory and I'll forget the list of items the GC actually wants unless I write it down someplace, but if I could lock the window and keep it on the screen as long as I needed it, I wouldn't need to write it down.

Then, when I was done with the activity that needed that UI window, I could unlock it again and close it like normal.

I agree, I would like that option as well.

While I play with a controller, I use a keyboard for many menu shortcuts (like ctrl+T for the timers menu). I'm on PC, but this also works on PS4. It's not perfect and rather clunky, but faster than going through the menus again after opening the retainer menus.

There's this new window in the crafting menu which shows you the raw materials, you can even lock it. I'd love for this to be available for other windows as well! Especially for the recipe tree, which is much more useful than the raw materials list.
