What is Square doing about bots camping to buy properties?

Is ridiculous to the point of a bot winning the property and still doing the same thing over and over for 5 minutes after winning. Reporting them solves nothing the system is broken.

I can think one way Square can solve it. Instead of the current.
- you get there
- you camp and then
- you press the same buttons over and over hoping to win the race with a bot.
Change it to:
- You come to the property, you make a deposit. This adds you to a list.
- You leave
- When the property becomes available. The system choose at random one of the players that made the deposit giving preference to those without a previous property. Why at random? To prevent bots from camping to get to be the first on the list.
- The winner gets notified that he got the property, the losers get their deposit back.

Simple. And will eliminate the unfair advantage bots and people with macro keyboards have.

How about no clicking. How about an alert like in Firmament that the Fate (oh wait property) is about to pop. That would allow campers to simply camp and then do their thing when it is up and available for purchase. Give it a 1 minutes countdown. The endless, mindless clicking has to go. Those there at the property and awake get a chance at it.

They should at least change something that fck up bots. Anything like random pop up windows or whatever. I lost a plot to a bot last week... we reported him. What happened? He probably got a warning and that's all.

At this point, even the person who got the plot is not using a bot, you will label them as bot user anyway

RNG ontop of RNG? Doubt anyone will sign up for that. Even if it's considered "fair", the amount of bots at the plots would skew the odds in their favor and, if that change does occur, then the wards will be flooded with bots just to push their % higher and higher, while actual players get closer to 0% chance of getting it.

Every way people have suggested or "requested" changes to the way we buy the houses always have issues that people don't seem to notice, or look in to. When in actuality, we need to make sure the suggestions and recommendations offered are actually water-tight. Otherwise, we'd have nobody to blame but ourselves if the new system gets exploited.

Nothing will ever be "water-tight". Players always manage to find ways to exploit systems to their benefit.

While you are correct, that doesn't mean we should leave as many holes as possible. Better to make it somewhat hard to exploit the system, rather than easily done to the point of redundancy.
