Which HW extremes can be soloed?

I've tried Thordan and I can get pretty far, but then I just insta die without taking any damage. I just tried S1T7 and got smacked for 390k damage. I kinda doubt Bismark can be done solo, but maybe? I haven't tried. I'm a DK with 490 gear and I'm positive these can be soloed, but I'm just having no luck. Sure, I could throw a party finder together, probably, and get it done, but I'd rather solo them instead if possible.

Ravana and Bismark can be soloed.
Ravana is extremely easy.
For Bismark you need some really strong burst dps to kill one of the adds asap before they get close to each other, but it's possible.

Ravana and bismark can be done. Thorden would have to be killed before the spear throw in phase 2 which would likely be impossible solo. I hear Nidhogg is soloable with paladin, but its hard. You gotta have people for Sephirot, dunno about sophia and zurvan, but you likely need people for them too

It’s unlikely for you to solo Thordan, because you would have to kill him before Ser Zephirin does his spear mechanic in Phase 3; and I don’t think that’s possible yet. How that mechanic is intended to work is a healer is usually targeted. The party then has to stack in front of the healer, with the OT in front of them, and share the spear damage. They effectively shield the healer from the spear. If that healer takes any damage from the spear mechanic, or isn’t properly shielded by the party, it’s usually a wipe from the damage.

EDIT: Apparently Mr. Happy did it on PLD? I haven’t watched the video yet, but I’m guessing something with Hallowed Ground? Because I know for a fact that you can’t take damage from Ser Zephirin’s mechanic without it killing the party because of the damage.

Sephirot EX would require you to need more than just one person for orange/green debuffs and tethers. Orange debuff people can’t take any of the tethers—and with DRK, your immunity would not be enough to survive that because Living Dead lul. PLDs can live it with Hallowed Ground, I’m positive—but you wouldn’t have the damage to kill him before he did the mechanic again, and Hallowed is a 7-minute cooldown.

I’m not sure about Sophia or Zurvan, but I think someone has soloed Zurvan on PLD. You will need Hallowed Ground for the first Broken Seal mechanic, and then you have to pop every cooldown you have for the next one, because those towers still hurt when they explode. Even at level 80.

All of the Heavensward Extremes can be soloed, even like half of Alexander Savage. PLD is the best contender for it, but Gunbreaker and then the other tanks are not to be underestimated.

It just takes a little mechanical know-how, and proper cooldown usage. These are all of my vids. MrHappy has vids from using i465 PLD or something like that, so it was done even before me or anybody else did it. For Thordan, to live through he spear mechanic just takes a lot of mitigation and being at full HP, because you also have to live through the tank buster that happens simultaneously.

For Sephirot, you want Orange, but have a 50/50 chance getting green or Orange. If you get Orange, you can Hallowed the Da'ats, and only take miniscule damage from the other tower exploding. Without Hallowed, you'll want Green, so it's a bit up to luck, but entirely doable. The hardest part other than that is killing the adds before you get too many Magic Vuln stacks and are killed by Binnas.

Nidhogg is somewhat tricky, but mostly involves killing things in the proper order, and then keeping your HP high for when the Blue and Red claw explode for 50,000 damage each, on top of the damage you are taking from Estinkihogg.

Sophia is easy, just don't get knocked off. Any tank can take her to the ball.

Zurvan is a DPS race, mainly. Has the highest DPS requirement of the three, and you also have to contend with Broken Seal. It is actually better to ignore standing in any of the meteor circles during it, because you will take unmitigatable damage from that circle, and once you live through the first Broken Seal, standing in any of the circles actually increases the damage you take, leading to more healing needed to be done. All tanks should be able to solo him next major gear/raid update though, with relative ease.

As for Savages that can be soloed, just look into MrHappy's channel. Should be A6S, A1S(as DPS), A11S, A10S I think... Just make sure your melds are in line, your cooldowns are good, and you should be able to solo or duo just about all of it no problemo. Also as a bit of a fun note, Rathalos Extreme is also soloable by any DPS that can reduce their GCD down and get 67 GCDs in twice before running out of Mega Potions in the flight phase.
