What does the rates of Switzerland homeowners have to do with a Video game? Also that didn't really answer the question. What is the rate in FFXIV vs people who want a home vs people who have it?

I say it's pure luck because
-no disconnects for all 200 floors, this can be the most deflating thing as it is usually outside your control if happens
-room types, get exit in treasure room 5x in row on floors 170+ kiss your time or pomanders goodbye
-Pomander drops, they are random what ones chest give you and whether they are mimics or not
-mob distribution, starting room has 3 entrances 4 chimeras incoming, hope to whatever Kami will listen that the one you pull does dragon 1st and the others don't see you
-trap distribution, this can be mitigated by following the walls but sometimes they are just in the way
-Debuffs, these are completely random what ones you get and some are more ideal than others, and there can be up to 3 of them.


There is a good amount of skill involved as you need to know rotation, what mobs are ideal to deal with, range of attacks, attacks that can be stunned/silenced etc, but at end of day it is pure luck that will determine whether you get to floor 200 solo without good enough luck you will fail.

So players that have reached floor 200 solo were just lucky. Right.

It says that 0% of players have the 'Alpha Wolf' Title when there are players who have that title although extremely extremely rare. I saw an Au ra dude with it years ago tanking Wanderers palace Hard mode, that's what prompted me to look for it. So this poll is definitely wrong here.

I mean I don't know anything about Switzerland's housing situation but I feel like that's not a great comparison? Real life living situations and personal access to the full scope of a piece of content in a video game aren't exactly comparable.

I wouldn't call house ownership in game rare, but it sure is limited at the very least. I definitely wouldn't think a "massive" percentage of people have one, at any rate... especially not with whole wards owned by a single person on several servers.

Anyway interesting info you've gathered OP, wish the best to anyone actually going for all of those.

These sites take information from lodestone profiles. If you set it to private, you’ll never be picked up and counted in the stats.
Only SE results can get around this as they have database access. But they’re more interested in telling us stats like the most NPC sold item or something.

Considering that is what someone told me who actually has the title, that no amount of knowledge, no amount of practice, can help you if pomanders do not drop, if treasure rooms are exits too many times, they straight up said they had to mulligan a run on floor 184 because they had spent 30 mins on the 1st 3 floors due to poor rng and had no hope of getting to and killing a boss, do also bear in mind I had forgotten another rng element that they reminded me about, number of monsters needed to proceed to next floor is random.

So yes you NEED a certain amount of luck thus earning that title comes down to luck, no amount of skill can compensate having too much bad luck. Skill can only get you so far, you need plenty for it but it is not the only deciding factor.

Even if the site isnt 100% accurate it will still give you a pretty good idea about what mounts, achievements etc. are rare and which are more common - infact with SE not giving us the actual data, its the best idea we can get.

Also: You might want to block out that name - just to be on the safe side. While this obviously isnt close to any naming&shaming thing, its always best to block any names except for your own.

Yes luck helps but it isn't pure luck that gets a clear. That was my point and I am done batting this garbage back and forth.

A massive population of the players has houses, it's not rare in the slightest.

Ok fine it's not rare but it's damn hard to get one house these days. Even a small one. Apartments are still plenty tho.

I've seen it fail once, and that was because the tank parked it just short of the target circle and people continued to attack it.
