Chocobo Escort Lv40 (Gridania)

What is up with this achievement.. 8 mins.. Seriously the NPC walks so slow its impossible.

NPC will stop the caravan 2 or three times and will not start back walking until 15 seconds have passed.. He makes it to the end always in 8:30.. 30 seconds to long..

I don't know about other companies but the gridania one is impossible.. The path is just too long and the last monsters spawn far too many.

Please post any tips if you have it because this drives a lot of us crazy.

Don't let the chocobo gets hits, kill mobs before they gets near chocobo, mobs pop location does have pattern.

We learnt the pattern by heart we stand there and AOE them as soon as they pop.. the chocobos never get hit. The NPC stops no matter what when certain enemy spawn

NPC will stops if they have sight of mobs, whoever that have aggros can bring them away and kill it further away.

It's not just sight.. it also happens from behind when the mobs are nowhere near the NPC

The main problem for us was that there are 2 or 3 attacks to much, where he stop.
We were on our 3 trys always more than 20 to 40 sec to slow and we atk and kill mobs as fast as possible with our 3-5 BLMs.


After I tried to solo it and i must say -> impossible to solo it at all.
I get as single person the same number of attacks and i´m sure i get pretty much the same numbers of enemys aswell.


We not know how easy or hard the 40 escort from Limsa and Uldah are.
