Item Lost During Merge Still Missing after Maintenance on 4/5/2012

Steps:
1. Logged in following maintenance that restored items that were lost during the server merge.
2. Found most missing items on the same retainer from which they disappeared - "Galkawithnotail" - except Hermes' Shoes. This retainer may have been one open space short of all the missing items prior to this maintenance. (Obviously, I'd have made this space available if I had known that this was what the maintenance would be addressing. There is now sufficient space on this retainer, and I'll keep it that way in case there's a chance of this item being restored.)
3. Checked and double-checked other retainer and main character's inventory, but the shoes were absent from all of them.

I wasn't sure if I should make a GM call versus posting here, considering none of the categories apply to my situation. Any help would be appreciated.
