    constant 90001

As of recently, I am getting 90001 error crashes. I've never had this issue until this week. Some times of day, I can play for 2-3 hours straight without issue, other times of day, it will crash nearly every minute. If its at specific hours of the day, I haven't noticed, since I've essentially tried every time of day and seem to have this issue. I play on PC, I have tried both wireless and ethernet into an extender, it seems to happen regardless. After it crashes, it doesn't kick me out of the game entirely just to the load screen where I can log back in immediately and will reconnect right away, so I'm not sure if it's on my end at all, especially since I don't have any high latency, I just seem to get logged out of the character. I typically don't have more than discord and spotify (in offline mode) open. I also don't seem to lag or disconnect in other games. I have only gotten the 90001 error and tried to troubleshoot with repairing drivers and switching connection types so I'm not sure what to do about it now. I've also tried the internet explorer fix and suggestions from other posts and port forwarding. It's become unplayable. Just to add, my partner has also been having this same 90001 error, she's on PS4 with very stable, low latency, internet. Her internet is separate from my own, it is also an entirely different internet provider so I have no idea if this is an ISP issue. She seems to be experiencing it less often than I am but similarly, she can just log back in and isn't booted out of the game entirely.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

-Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

    - Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

-Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.

@Rhaervis, I already tried these as I saw it suggested on other posts of similar issues. Not sure what else to do.

Thank you for the reply antivilain.

To clarify, do you notice any pattern to these disconnects? Do they only happen in certain areas or while doing certain actions?

Additionally, is this your only character? If you have others (on other data centers), do they disconnect in the same fashion?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

The only pattern I've noticed is that I seem to get them more frequently in dungeons / raids. When I've used the trust system, I haven't gotten any disconnects however. I have another character on the same data centre and it behaves much the same on that character.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

As the disconnections appear to be lessened by using the trust system, we have to assume the particular dungeons/raids have a high number of players. As such, those areas would be congested and cause a higher number of disconnects. We would recommend trying those raids/dungeons during times of lighter player traffic to see if that resolves the issue.

    Constant 90k Errors

I keep having 90001 and 90002 errors. I play different online games and FFXIV is the only one where I constantly get d/c'd. It's making the game unplayable outside of messing around in town or solo stuff. I've tried opening up my port forwarding stuff on my router, going direct from my modem, I have a brand new pc, I have spectrum and I bought a brand new router thinking I was receiving packet loss with my old 6 year old one and that didn't work, nothing is working. I've had this issue since the 5.2 release. Is there a fix? Is this something that SE is working on? I don't sub to a game to have it unplayable (the only game that's unplayable) and discourages me from playing content.
