    Having the 1100000002 crashes regularly.

    Constant 1100000002 & pretty much all Direct X crashes for the past two months. I've done all the suggestions said by all other GMs in this forum thread and I still have the same issues. I seriously need this fixed.

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

    1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
    2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
    3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
    4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
    5) Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card
    6) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

    No changes have happened to my PC since the 1100000002 errors & crashes have occurred. This issue has always been a problem since 5.0 but it would normally go away for months after a simple graphics driver update. It wasn't until the recent 5.25 patch where the crashes would happen regularly or even two-three times a day. I can do activities in-game like dungeons, world exploring/hunting, and pvp battlegrounds just fine (with 441.87 drivers). It isn't until I start raiding Savage that I would constantly get 1100000002 game crashes. The crashes would most likely happen moments before a Boss mechanic would be initiated or if I had a tether specifically to do a boss mechanic.

    I had initially updated my NVIDIA graphics driver months ago to version 445.87 and that gave me an even bigger list of errors such as "ffxiv_dx11.exe+2FC5D8" and had caused me to crash within minutes of being online in the game. I had rolled back my drivers to 441.87 to somewhat stabilize the errors to happen at a moderate pace, still frustrating to have it happen once or twice during raid times. I'm now currently using the latest drivers 446.14 and it currently seems to have no effect on the Direct X game crashes during raids. Seeing as this has been an issue since 5.0's release, I really hope you can pinpoint the issue to help those like me that constantly get game crashes .

    1) I've kept an eye of my PC and it does not overheat or go above 65C during stress testing.
    2) & 6) I tested this out with nothing but the game running and no interference. I still had the crashes regardless. This is when I knew it was not my PC causing the issue.
    3) This was the first suggestion I did after I had heard others were having the same issue. Nothing changed.
    4) Also had no impact sadly.
    5) Updated them just recently, still had the 1100000002 results.

    We apologize for the delay in responding. We would like to recommend deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue. We would also like to see if adjusting or lowering the graphics settings in game resolves the issue.

    Lowering the graphics settings did not help with the crashes. I've tried to put the game under a large variety of settings (as well as other stress testing) & It happens at any setting it is currently put at. To me, FFXIV seems to have some kind of PC graphical bug within the game's code that occurs; that freaks out the game when trying to register. I'm not certain if it's a memory leak or something entirely different.
    I'll try out the delete saved data solution to see if that helps, and report back in 2-4ish days.

    About a week has passed with no issues until the Direct X error popped back up again. I did a fresh install to windows / FF14 prior in hopes to help but nothing of the sort has helped.
