MAC: "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting final fantasy xiv.(15)"

I'm running FFXIV on an early 2013 MacBook Pro 15in Retina display. It's been going fine, generally, but last night I allowed the 10.15.5 patch to run through. Now, potentially as a result of that, any time I fast travel (take a boat, teleport by aetheryte, enter a room, boot up after getting kicked taking an aetheryte), I'm kicked from the game with the error message in the title.

I'm not quite savvy on how the Mac FFXIV program records error information, so if you need a piece of info in order to help me please be sure to tell me where the file containing that info is!

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Can you please provide the device specs for your MacBook?

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
