Crashing to Desktop Suddenly

Hello, all.
For the past two years, I have had no issues with FFXIV. But last night I was playing on windowed mode so I could watch something while crafting for a few hours as I have one monitor. Today, I switched my game back to the default setting of windowed fullscreen and my game crashed within seconds with no warning.

I started it back up, took a few steps, same crash. Tried again in fullscreen, tried again with my Discord overlay disabled, I'm constantly crashing. I've had no issues with this game up until today. I tried reading other forum posts but they're very old and haven't helped me. I've tried everything under the sun other than a clean install and I'm still crashing without warning or the music stops, I freeze, and there goes my game. All I have open is Discord and FFXIV. Everything is up to date, I use DX11 and DX9 interchangeably and use the direct launcher itself. I also use an NVIDIA GFX that's up to date.

Are there any new things I could try?

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Where in game does the crash occur? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
