Suggestions for FC Events! :D

So basically I'm asking for a few suggestions from others that either host events in general, or host events particularly for Free Companies.
Being a fairly new FC leader, I'm wishing to find some creative ideas to have my FC enjoyable and active, and to help bring my FC members closer together!

This one may be obvious but during October a costume contest where people dress up as their favourite characters from TV or movies or anime or other video games, etc.
You can have a seasonal version too, having the season being the guideline. Best summer outfit, best winter garb, etc. which you can host every 4 months or so in addition to the Halloween one.

Fairly easy and obvious things would be hosting map-parties, Ex-farms, maybe re-runs of old content on specific days.
If you have an FC-house you can set up the gardens, workshops and FC-vessels for something everyone can work on together whenever they have the time.

My FC has also done self-made treasure hunts and riddles in the past - hidding some item in the FC-house and giving out some clues for example or posting a short riddle that was hinting towards an item that had to be sent to the FC-leader (a cheap item, mind you - just to get the answer correct. I think I made something about Snow White and the answer in the end was a specific needle). I created a whole clue-hunt in the Azim-Steps once (though I did utilise our discord server to post all the riddles). It was SO much fun watching all my FC-mates trying to figure out the answers to my little riddles... gotta do that again sometimes!

I also know of some FCs that have been hosting theater productions, but thats obviously a lot of work...

My old fcs did a lot of things such as

Night at the Gold Saucer: Self explanatory

Hide and Seek: pick a ward and go nuts

Price is right: Get a marketboard item and guess the value, usually this one involves prizes so not recommended for
New/poor fcs

Human Darts: take your brightest mount and have players land on you in the Astrolegon towers in Coerthas

PvP duels: this one will require some restraint cuz a lot of my Old Fc mates take this one very seriously

Virus: Just like hide and seek but starts out with one person and once he’s caught he joins whomever is “it” until 1 remains , playing this with 36 players online in The Lochs in Gyr Abania is super fun but stick to smaller locations if you have smaller fcs

Treasure chests/Farms: the more basic things to do but effective if you have charismatic members

Yeah, this was going to be my first suggestion as well. Use the glamour system to have costume contests. Be sure to keep them fairly tightly themed and give a little advance notice. Or do it pretty much on the spot to see what your members can quickly come up with. It can be seasonal or it can be something like "Best Warrior" or "Best for a day in the Shroud" etc.

Depending on how many members you have, you could also do little plays, comedy routines or skits for each other. Just pair people up and see what they can come up with.

We just had a Blue Night a few days ago where we helped folks unlock blue mage, get some skills, get some levels. We're excited to do more soon where we can really play around in some dungeons =D

I once went around various parts of Eorzea and took screenshots.
I told people to go find where I was standing and replicate the screenshots.

It's a nice way to get people to explore and check out some of the more unique hidden areas that players may have forgotten about.

All of your FCs sound so fun! Any of you on Famfrit? I play with my wife and we are looking for an FC with events.

Seconding hide and seek. We play in the big zones, and especially if you're playing in places with lots of nooks and crannies like Raktika, it can actually take hours to find everyone if you have a decent sized group. We've used our FC discord to voice chat and send each other hint screenshots as we play. We've also done something like "hiding in plain sight" where we all turn off names and glamour different gear or NPC-looking gear and try to blend in crowded zones like Limsa.

Maps, mount farms... We sometimes list out all the glamours people wanted from older content and rotate through the old raids/trials together to farm glamours or mats.

I haven't had a chance to try this on a big scale but we've done this with smaller groups and it's been fun--picking out a totally new weird-looking glamour for each other's characters and taking screenshots in the strange outfits.

We also do holiday-related stuff like a secret santa gift exchange, diadem trips together...

I think one that is especially fun for me are house redecorating parties. Getting people together to redesign the house is quite fun if you have artistic types in your FC.

My FC went trick or treating. On the 31st we got into 'costume' and roamed the housing wards, entering random houses and demanding candy from everyone we saw.
