Noob question about online on 2 different pcs.

Hi just started playing and curious if I could logon on 2 different computers at the same time.
Not play, no not that question, but need to download on one pc but seems like it
will take 10+ hours, just wonder if I can play at home while it is downloading on the
other pc.

I don't think so? There's a security feature they have where if they detect suspicious log in attempts they temporarily lock the account and you need to log into your account to be able to download the game. I used to get this occasionally just from switching between logging in with a VPN and logging in without it on the same computer. It's a pretty easy process to unlock it, but I would suspect that logging in from two different computers at the same time would trigger it if just switching a VPN on and off would trigger it.

If I understand properly, no. You can't double-log on the same account.

You should be able to log into two instances of the same account (with the same SE ID) on two different pcs. You just cannot log into the game and play on the same account on two different pcs at the same time. So go ahead and download on one and play on the other. I update on my laptop while I'm already playing on my desktop. Now, if you don't have a one-time password app/token, it will probably seem suspicious that you're logging in from a second location and lock you out. So I recommend getting the app at least if you don't have it.

My understanding is that it automatically logs you out if you try to log in elsewhere. I'm not sure if this is at an account or character level.
