Suggestion about Chat system

Im new for Final Fantasy XIV and thank you for the event that give me a chance to try the game and I will buy a full version real soon
So first thank you so much for making a good game
Im enjoy and appreciate its so much

now about my suggestion about Chat system
Only one game I MMORPG that I love before this game is Ragnarok online and the most important is the chat system its really make me connect with other people in the game world
I also love the chat system in FFXIV but its comfortable to use but something is missing

In game when we chat its have no chat Pop up on our character (like the one that npc have) Its make the game less alive because for new player when I run in town I see a lot people stand there and just playing some emotion they did'nt communicate with each other then I understand later that they do communicate but I can't see it
its kind of making the world less connection

once in game when Im in the wild and have another adventurer come close to me. He try to make friend but I did't see it in the Chat box. I saw its later and I feel so bad with it. Because when I send tell to him later he not answer anymore

can you imagine what I mean if our character have a chat pop up when we chat
its look so cool when we can see people communicate in game world


linkshell is good but its seem like only for people who play long times or have friends to play with but for new player like me its just make me disconnected from other people in the world

I know /tell system is comfortable for player
but plz consider about chat popup to just make the game more alive for a player who want to communicate with strangers
its the most fun moment in MMORPG Online right?
And we already have moogle letters if we want to send message for someone far from us
I will support your games if you consider about this
