Combining some buttons into one

1-2-3 is short hand for describing the standard gcd combo system used by most classes and jobs of the game. 1 is the action that is uneffected by the action performed before it, 2 is the action that get its combo bonus from following action 1 and 3 is a action that gets its combo bonus for following 2. A majority of the non-caster classes and jobs (along with Red Mage) use variations of this system to perform their weaponskill combos.

For Gunbreaker the basic single target combo is:

1. Keen Edge
2. Brutal Shell
3. Solid Barrel

While the Cartridge/Continuation combo is:

1. Jugular Rip
2. Abdomen Tear
3. Eye Gouge

Not really. The combos would still be Keen Edge -> Brutal Shell -> Solid Barrel and Jugular Rip -> Abdomen Tear -> Eye Gouge.



Are you certain you are including all your abilities (including role actions) on your hotbars? Gunbreaker has 32 buttons (25 job abilities and 7 role actions) at level 80 not including general actions such as mount, sprint, teleport and limit break. The basic controller Hotbar set has 16 buttons while the expanded can hold up to 32 without changing to another hotbar set.

I'mma show my hotbar in a following post, as it might explain what I mean more. Tho I think I might just be overseeing the issue. As I'll be honest.. it doesn't feel like 32 actions on mine. So I think you might be right. IT feels so basic when I play tho. Let me get my pictures in here so you can see.

THe first image at the top is the first cross bar/ default. Without holding L2 or R2. As you can see I have both the standard combo and the GF combo on that bar. I work my rotations in a clock like fashion so it's easier to remember. The second image is me holding down L2 and R2 I believe and I switch to R2 and L2 when I want to hit either left or right as the images show. The last one is just showing how many crossbars I'm even using for the job and it's only cross bar 1 and 2. Cross bar 8 is my emote bar. So that is why I was saying I have tons of space for more moves.

Now I'm sure you'll noticed the PC like hotbars above them. I added extra moves there... but that never seemed like alot to me still. But I don't play KB and mouse so this is me asking.. with those PC bars above the controller ones I use. Is that alot of moves? Cause on controller it doesn't feel like alot to me at all.
