Unable to complete version check

Hi,
My launcher is unable to complete version check, and it is giving me the following error:
[30605][20448][10009][10019]
I run my game through steam.

I have tried:
- rebooting
- restarting router
- edeting the FFXIV_BOOT file
- Following the guide at:
https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...09-19900-12157

This is highly frustrating, the game worked just fine last night. I hope you can help.

It sounds like you've tried everything we would normally suggest . It may seem like a hassle, but can you try to update the game using a different connection? Maybe use a wireless hotspot or go to a friend's house? This will indicate whether the issue comes from the connection or the device.

Hi again,
I tried again a few hours later, and the launcher worked again, so i could download and reinstall the game. So it works now, but i did loose all my settings. But as long as the game can launch, i am happy.
