Can't renew my sub, tried everything.

my 30 day playtime ran out yesterday and today i jsut can't renew it.

It always chooses Steam payment by default, but when i log into steam i get an error (service unavailable)
I can't register my Visa card either (error 601)

I looked around that you can buy crsyta, but i can't select crysta as a payment method, because it is always on steam payment by default and shows no other options.


Why do you make it so difficult for your customers to pay for your service? that seems counter productive.

i'm trying for like 2 hours now to find a solution and im getting really annoyed by now.

I have no experience with Steam so unfortunately I can't help you with that, but I do know the 'error 601' error is sadly a boilerplate error that has a lot of different causes. Some of the most common (and I've experienced some of these causes myself) is are you accessing the Mogstation with a browser with security apps like Noscript active? If so, they're probably blocking benign security scripts the Mogstation requires that run in the background when you enter your payment details (they're basically checking the card is legitimate and that your connection isn't being hacked). Disabling these apps or otherwise whitelisting the Mogstation and the revelant scripts should fix the issue.

Another cause is an issue with your debit or credit card that can often be at the bank end - this happened to me once when I was issued a new card after my old one expired. Turns out when I activated the new card at the bank the teller had not removed a flag on my bank account telling the card had to be renewed, which took 2 seconds on their end to remove. Once they did so I never had that problem again.

There are many other possible causes but sometimes there is no apparent logical explanation for it. SE did have an official thread about the problem and possible ways to fix it, but it seems to have disappeared. The thread however, can be found here.

I tried to turn off AdBlocker but still get error 601 when trying to add my Visa Card, i use the Visa for other only stuff too any payed in other games with it already, i don't think my card is the problem here.

Okay i just wanted to say, after logging into the Mogry station with microsoft edge instead of chrome, it allowed me to select "Add Subsription" and a new payment method. but in Google CHome it ALWYS only showed steam payment.
So i was able to select crysta as a payment method now.

It's a browser cache issue.

Use a different browser or clear cache/cookies.
