Currently Linux support works very well using steam Proton. to get the game to work flawlessly we only need to change 2 config values.

Code:
"Browser 1" in FFXIV_BOOT.cfg 
and 
"CutsceneMovieOpening 1" in FFXIV.cfg
I know me and a lot of other players are extremely grateful that this works so well as shown here (over 119 reports and an overall gold rating).

Considering these two config changes are the only thing needed would it be possible to have a team member look at this as it may be a simple fix?

If that is not possible, may I request that the team doesn't remove the old launcher (accessed via the "Browser 1" value) as this is the only way many of us are able to play the game and we feel like it might be removed any day!
