Hi guys so while we are waiting for 5.3 I've decided I would punish myself by trying to finish off getting all the relics from arr and I gotta say it's going slow. I got the bard weapon back when the content came out so I've got 9 weapons to get.

Books stage: Any way get the fates and dungeons Down to 1, maybe also could have more than 1 book at a time or have 1 book with a lot do. This is taking alot of time as most times I can only play at night and I can maybe get 2 books done (depending on how long I've gotta wait for a fate)

Alex stage: I'm doing the daily map everyday which only gives 5 and I'm getting the odd one from fates while doing the books. So would like a better drop rate on fates and maybe 10 from maps

Lights stage: haven't reached this yet but I've been told run tamtara or stone vigil

4 repeatable quests: I'm doing these along side the books, would like the amount of dungeons reduced, bombard cores, spring water made cheaper. I have been able to craft the hq items but they have been a pain to get as I'm lucky to get 1 item out of 20 dynsthing the aged item.

I've been seeing people doing these relics as I've been running round so it's not just me

For the Alexandrite stage, you can just keep spamming maps until you get the 75 you need. Well as long as you have the poetics that is. ^_^

Well from the 5,6,7 roulette I get 100 from that but thatll either go on another book or the spring water which is 200 :/ but I have seen that you can hold 3 maps at a time which will make traveling back to mor dhona easier

This alone would probably cut the entirety of the Zodiac relic quest in half. Not even kidding. The shear amount of FATES, enemies, and dungeons you repeat all being reduced to just needing them once would take a lot of the work out.

And that's probably why they'll never do it. The book portion is really the only 'grindy' thing about this questline now. Nearly everything else can be taken care of just by running your daily roulettes to cap out the most current tomes.

Well there's the Atma parts, bu that can be pre-grinded so...yeah

I wouldn't put anything past this dev team when it comes to ARR. This time last year, I would have said they would never even think about adding flying to these zones, or trimming down the MSQ for those very same reasons. Here we are though.

Alexandrite is also sold for allied seals, if I remember correctly.

Indeed they are. Though I would imagine that of the two currencies, poetics is the more disposable.

I went the Alexandrite route because I've been doing my weekly B rank for over a year... and I did complete the Masked Carnival, which gives you thousands upon thousands of Allied Seals. Considering riding maps are basically pointless now, you don't have much you can buy with Allied Seals besides a few minions and GC Hunt glamour, so for anyone who is into BLU I endorse the Alexandrite route since you'll have more Allied Seals than you ever know what to do with.
