Help getting to Heavensward

Hi there. New player here. Just hit 50 on my Conjurer/White mage, completed the MSQ that awarded the blue gear but don't know what to do to get to Heavensward. I tried looking it up but it I can't find what I'm missing to get to the next areas in HW. Is there a way to easily check what chain quests I'm missing? Here is my character in case it helps:

Also, if I open it up on my main job, does that open it for any additional jobs or must I complete these pre-reqs each time?

Have you bought the Heavensward expansion? The last quest of ARR is Before the dawn and after that if you have the expansion it should automatically show up in the top left corner on the MSQ quest bar. I did look at your gear, but seems like you're missing some gear story gives you so are you sure you are finished with the MSQ? Also quest always open up for all jobs, unless it is the jobs own quests, or the level of the job doesn't match the level of the quest.

You can check your completed quests and see where you left off. Then look up what the next quest is and where it’s located.

NPC says "I can convert the alembic into a makeshift oven, but only once you have brought me that hammer". Do I need to backtrack this chain quest to see what leads to this?

For that quest you need to go to Camp Drybone (the tiny city near the quest place) at X13-Y23 and buy a Bronze Ornamental Hammer from a merchant. After you buy it, you can continue the quest and the story

I bought the complete edition, so I have all xpac. I did do what I would call a main MSQ that gave me a box with some blue gear in it. After that, the MSQ in the top-left corner says the next quest is called "With A Little Elbow Grease" but the quest giver is in red and won't give it to me.

I looked this one up andit is a Lvl 35 MSQ. The ARR quests top out at Lvl 50, and then continue for several big patches even after the "end" before you journey to the Heavensward areas. You have a while to go!

It requires two items, and it is possible you only obtained one. I do not remember the specifics of it, unfortunately.

Click one of the grey level icons (i.e. for now, click the "level 30-39" icon) to see the names and the amount of quests. Obviously don't read too much in to the quest titles, and especially don't read the descriptions if you want to avoid spoilers.

Just so you know, the class/job quests aren't MSQ, but side stories (though you should definitely do them as they become available). They get the "important sidequest" icon with the blue + marker to indicate they unlock stuff, but MSQ has the meteor icon.

Click on the red marker guy and it will tell you the requirements
