You're actually lucky it is that big. Efficiency increases from consumables are usually 1-2% in MMOs.

Marketboard prices are set by sellers, not the developers. If you don't like the prices on your world, you should use World Visit to check the prices on other worlds. If you still can't find a price you like, level CUL so you can make it and then start selling it at the price you think is fair.

I have all DoL and DoH at level 80, with maxed gear. It's just that I find it irrelevant to use money on something close to worthless, unless it's exactly what you need to just get you over the edge (if you can say it like that in English).
