Are Kelpies more common in the First?

Was wondering about a weird case of the devs tendencies to have dungeon bosses appear as regular mobs later in the game.

The Kelpie was the first boss of Skalla and that seems to be the only specimen I know exists on the sourse, however the equine wavekin seems to pop up in several locations in the First, namely as Trash in Dohg Mehg, in the Dungeons of Lyhe Griah and as the A Rank Nuckvavee in Lakeland.

Considering the fey nature of the Kelpie, the former two are fitting, but overall I was wondering if they were more common in the First compared to the Source.

Well, clearly they are, from a gameplay perspective. The Nuckelavee is a mythological creature from Scottish mythos that rises from the sea to lay waste to the land and its people. Brings on droughts and such, before returning to the sea. It can't tolerate fresh water, and its description is basically a very long armed centaur with an entire finned horse for its lower half. Its arms can reach the ground, and it's supposed to stand 4~5 times as high as a man.
