YES! Yours is very similar to mine in terms of general setup.I'm also using a Keyboard + Mouse set up. I'm using a Microsoft Ergo 4000 Keyboard, so no fancy additional keys but a standard ergonomic layout. Next to that, i'm using a Logitech G502 mouse, where i've bound the "auto walk" and "push to talk" actions under specific Mouse buttons (on the side of the mouse).
Since I'm using a regular keyboard layout, i had to come up with a hotbar layout, where i could mostly use my left hand in order to reach most of the actions i needed to use. This is what i came up with:
Above you see the hotbar layout of my White Mage. Since i can reach the numeric keys 1 through 6, i split each hotbar into 2 section. The left side are assigned to the numeric keys 1 through 6 and the right side are assigned to 7 through =. Since that would only work for 1 hotbar, i've assigned control keys, creating shortcut keys. For instance CTRL 1 through 6 and ALT 1 through 6.
After experimenting a lot with different layouts, this is what i ended up using:
This is my setup... bottom right is single target rotation with kenki and related skills above it. Next to it is my aoe rotation (have gaming keyboard and use the G keys to toggle between them quick and easy). Below that is emergency healing, food, hunt macros, and duty action for the moments I need it.
To the left of that everything is organized to give me quick access to various functions with an eye towards keeping as much of my screen clear as possible. I guess I prefer something of a minimalist approach? It works for me though lol.

iam the opposite, i cant play these type of game with controller so my hat also off for you who play this with controller =)
unlike everyone here who use advance setup or mouse with lot of buttons, iam more "traditional" mouse and keyboard style, and i didnt change any of the UI in the game i just leave it default with 3 hotbars on the bottom and 1 vertical hotbars on the right.
my hotkey is basically the standard 1-5 (more than that my left hand reach it) and bind the rest of skill to others, so basically...
- 1-5 default numbers on keyboard
- 6 7 8 9 i bind them to 'Q' 'E' 'R' and 'F' none of this letter is matter in ff14 at least for me
- 10 i just bind it to middle mouse button
for extra button i just use standard alt-1 to alt-4 (cant reach alt-5 and beyond) and the rest is mouse play (aim to skill and click manually)
have been doing this ever since i play mmorpg
I play keyboard and mouse, I can't get used to controllers. I've tried but I like keyboard and mouse way more.
I play on PC with a controller, that said my MMO experience is FFXI and FFXIV (played a bit of 1.X, been playing 2.0 to now), which both have controller support. And I started ARR on PS3 since my PC at the time could barely run it at minimum (also is the reason why I only played a bit of 1.X lol, was basically unplayable on the hardware I had).
I've tried to learn KB/M a few times over the past few years, but I could never find a keybind setup I can get used to and stick with. Using the number row with CTRL/ALT/SHIFT for skills feels unnatural to me, and rebinding to other keys started to confuse me in practice xD
