While I understand the complaint to a point, GNB's Gnashing Fang+Continuation burst range is 3y, which is standard melee range, and is in this matter no different from the other tanks asides from PLD with their burst periods.
DRK spamming Bloodspiller, Edge and other oGCDs during Delirium require being in the 3y melee range, same with WAR and Inner Release Fell Cleave spam.
So then what is so different about GNB's burst to warrant a greater range cushion during it over the other tanks?
There isn't, infact it's even less of an actual complaint because the continuation combo is unique as it has a smaller buffer for the skills to go out than any OGCD, resulting in a very easy/managable ability for a GNB to double weave without clipping even with high Skill Speed. This is a non-issue.While I understand the complaint to a point, GNB's Gnashing Fang+Continuation burst range is 3y, which is standard melee range, and is in this matter no different from the other tanks asides from PLD with their burst periods.

Not sure about DRK but warrior's burst doesn't require you to weave ogcds after every single gcd, you can very comfortably move the boss while spamming fell cleave, because boss moves to you inbetween your gcds. Yes, you do need to use onslaught and upheaval but those are only 2 ogcds and onslaught there is even more of a help than a hindrance, as you can distance yourself enough from boss to make him move and gap close immediately to not lose a gcd. I imagine for drk you also don't need to spam edge ogcds between bloodspillers in delirium, as you can probably delay their use after, unless you're capped on mana and you absolutely have to dump it. On gnb on the other hand you can't just drop one of your ogcds in continuation and continue with your gnashing fang combo, you will just lose that ogcd. Not to mention bursts on war and drk come up every 90 sec (maybe 60 sec on drk, but im pretty sure you still delay carve and spit or abyssal drain a bit without losing a use if things get too busy), while gnb's burst is 30 sec and such a short period perfectly aligns to having to move the boss almost in every fight this tier, and it gets even more hectic every 60 seconds. While I understand the complaint to a point, GNB's Gnashing Fang+Continuation burst range is 3y, which is standard melee range, and is in this matter no different from the other tanks asides from PLD with their burst periods.

I like the way gnb plays now, and i don't want anything about its playstyle to change, but increasing the range on continuation ogcds doesn't make gnb easier or braindead, it just makes it more comfy, QOL sorta thing, i just genuinely don't see the reason why they SHOULDN'T do it.

i dont hve any problem to manual do my continuation, even when i am OT in e5s
Oh. My lord.
Why are you trying to take away one of the very few things that give Gunbreaker any sort of unique flavor? Just hit the damn Continuation button.
At this rate we should have a “auto play” mode so the tank can worry about moving instead of playing the game

auto play mode in FF12 is fu because you build your own auto play, in FF13 that not because AI will decide which action your character does, if continuation become auto play it will reduce number of action you need when control GNB and making that job become boring, the fun from GNB that you can do your burst combo each 30 second unlike other tank when you need to wait like a minute for their burst come up

I'm a new GNB and I have to say continuation is what made me want to make it my main tank job.
