Pretty sure whm quest was about the elemental's wanting to just protect the forest and the pld's just fighting/protecting for who ever runs uldah. Maybe i read them wrong.Greetings!
If you happen to have completed more than one job quest line you will notice that EVERY one of them shares the same "Corrupted by power" theme in some form or fashion.
All they've done really when you think about it is go the lazy route and re-skin the quests to with "BLM," "PLD," etc NPC's and reuse the same "Corrupted by power" hoopla. Granted they have different "Walls-o-text" and what have you, but the underlying theme is exactly the same, like it was done by the guy that decided to copy & paste the dungeon walls from The Dzemael Darkhold straight into The Arum Vale just to save time (Probably why they didn't post a video of it either.).
That being said, going forward, can the dev's at least put forth some effort into the work which they make?
Final Fantasy games are known for having an epic storyline, not something that seems reskinned & lazily done to just save time & get the product out. I mean you have an entire team that makes their living writing stories, yet all that they come up with is using the same underlying theme on EVERY job quest?
Show some ingenuity & effort in what you do SE! Lately it seems your letting the players develop the game for you by asking for feedback and having all these surveys instead of doing the research yourselves. Yes player feedback is nice, but you should know what's hot & what's not without having to heavily rely on players telling you.
Feedback should be INCORPORATED into what you develop, not become the only thing you use.
