    Have you used up all 8 character slots and bought another account so you can have 8 more?

    I haven't heard of anyone doing that but I wouldn't be surprised to hear of someone doing that.

    you can have up to 40 now but when I first started playing you could do 8 alts on 4 different servers for total of 32....I had 30 for the first year I played so I am an altoholic for sure..

    I only have 10 across two servers. I kinda feel like they need to add male Viera and female Hrothgar just so I can have more.

    Currently seven plus an eighth unused-both-don't-want-to-delete one taking up the last slot... which put a bit of a dampener on further ability to play in the character creator - it won't let me in any more now I've reached my character limit, even if I wasn't going to actually start anything.

    If it was more efficient to start extra characters, I would probably have lots.

    I can't say I have any alts. I have enough stuff to do on my one character, thinking about doing it all on another character horrifies me. Only reason I can think I'd make an alt is if I had an IRL friend running through the game.
