[IMG]Do WinMtr to https://secure.square-enix.com/ look for a node that has 80%+ packet lost. If it has letters TATA contact your isp. Thats what cogentco tech support says. And dont ask what TATA means...[/IMG]

for those who are at proximus I have created a topic on the official proximus forum, maybe they will settle the problem more easily if several people show up on the forum.

Also been having this problem for 22 hours now. I cant even access the forum without a vpn..... I live in Holland also...
Everything else I have and connect to works perfectly without a vpn but I cannot log into FF14, The Mog Station or the Square enix forum without a VPN.
Please fix this...its been long enough now....

Yo, same here - had to use VPN to even post about it here.
It's pretty much this when I try to use launcher without VPN:
"A connection error has occurred. Please try again later."
"A System Error Has Occured: -2146697208"
"Unable to complete version check"
"The server is not responding"
It used to be fine before, but now it's difficult to play properly. Could it be finally fixed and sub prolonged for those affected?
New day, same problem. I expect a statement by Square Enix if this persists for more than today, given that it is not just a problem with 'local' last mile providers, but a massive continental europe screwup that does not seem to affect normal internet operation so far, and more or less just FFXIV.
Been having this issue since yesterday morning, been doing everything you could possible to imagine to try and fix it by myself. Only way I can get game to running is to use vpn and locate myself somewhere else. I'm living in Finland.
Same issue since yesterday morning.Iam from Slovakia.Also the websites, forums, lodestone not accesible from my cable inet. Changing to mobile inet works, after i log in i can change back to my cable inet .
Same issue here in NL. And in order to try and fix it, i wanted to try and reinstall the game. Now i can't even install it anymore![]()
Same problem here from Germany (Vodafone cable inet). Forum and Lodestone also working very unreliable.
Apparently a regional ISP issue. The route to the servers can't be resolved, they are up and working after some debugging with a friend.
I can connect without issues at home (Vodafone) but have the issues mentioned at work (T-Mobile).
I have some friends with the same issue and they circumvented it with some free VPN for the launcher login, then they turned it off in the in-game login and it seems to work.
