What is the fastest way to level a DPS class?

My MSQ is complete, so that's really not an option. I have been doing the 5 roulettes a day for about 1-2 levels. But once that's done, I'm kind of at a loss. Nobody seems to grind fates anymore, so that doesn't appear to be much of an option (soloing fates isn't much fun). What else is there?

PotD is a option, Beast tribe quests, sometimes if the dungeon is fun I just spam until I reach the next one

The weekly challenges are well worth keeping an eye on, as are the daily hunts. Even the Levequest weekly can be a nice boost since you can do the 5 Levequests in Gridania or something to get a nice pop of XP in 5 minutes. Add in Beast Tribes and the occasional XP boosted FATE once in the StormBlood and ShadowBringers level range while you're waiting for a cue to pop.

Also consider Squadrons (or, later, Trusts). Yes they are slower than player groups to run but they're also instant cue and can provide a pretty nice XP amount based on your level and which one you do.

And, of course, at low levels it's always worth doing your job/class specific combat logs. The XP you get from completing them doesn't seem like much but it really adds up.

When you say "My MSQ is complete" as a level 50 player [since you didn't quantify your current level, so I have to believe what's shown via the forums] do you mean you finished the 2.0 storyline, or all the way through the 2.5x storyline? Currently (pre 5.3 release next month), there are over 100 quests and trials/dungeon instances, including side-quests and side instances, that should put you anywhere from level 52 to 54 by the time you get to Heavensward content.

Roll a tank (sorry, I had to). Otherwise roulettes. Also, protip: remember your exp boosts--rested exp buff, food +3%, and the scrolls that increase exp gained from killing monsters by 15% that you get from your Grand Co. flunkies as a reward for some lv 45-50 missions all help enormously. Lastly, your challenge log is a fantastic way to tie in your roulette exp with the weekly challenges such as giving out comms and doing random dungeons. Fate challenge log completion is good ,too.

The current fastest is probably:

-Have a friend boost you to lv15 by killing lv49-50 mobs that you tag.
-Run a few Satasha
-Run dungeons with a full Offensive Mastery 5 squadron in the order of the lv20, lv24, lv32, lv41, lv47, lv53 dungeon, skipping any others. Do this to lv61. Even ignore Roulettes for this.
-Roulettes + HoH to 70. As a bonus the hair style from the hoard sacks still sells very well.
-Pixies/Roulettes then just run dungeons while doing Fates during the queue.

Pre-60 if you have squadrons, you can do the handful of dungeons. Though once you get to 54? You're stuck at spamming Sohm Al until you're high enough to do the Vault, and then grind the Vault until you're 60. Do that only if you're tired of grinding Palace of the Dead. They pretty much stopped with squadron dungeons to focus on the trust system, so you only get two MSQ dungeons for Heavensward and zero Stormblood dungeons.

Pre 50 leves aren't too bad, but compared to crafting/gathering leves they have diminishing returns.

61-70 Heaven On High is literally DPS best option. Dungeon would technically be better exp but the slow queues just aren't worth it.

70-80 Unlock the pixie beast tribe, they have a pretty good payout (probably to make up for the fact they're the only DOW/DOM beast tribe this exp, normally beast tribes pay only a bit more than quests before that.) And trusts once you exhausted all roulette options.

I really wish they would boost exp for fates, or at least make the challenge log worth your while.
