I disagree with this.

It says a lot about the genre when latest “mmo hotness” is a game from 8 years ago getting a western release.

All while others are shutting down before they even get to their first post launch pee break.

You can't judge mmos by the same standards as the rest of the industry. They are a long term commitment for both players and devs. and there isn't room for a lot of juggernauts in the industry. 8 years is a fairly young mmo. Many shutdown because they are not willing to play the long game, or operate on the lower end.
